Our goal is to democratize, decentralize, and lower the cost of wireless network access by creating a new type of global telecom layer, in which consumers can also be service providers and stakeholders simultaneously, all powered by Spektrum Chain smart contracts.

A Solution for Community-Driven Internet Access
The Spektrum network will be fuelled by the SPK coin, which enables consumers to access the internet for very low pay-as-you-go rates and can generate consistent rewards for users that share their internet connection with others by running Spektrum Portal devices.
Spektrum Chain will empower a brand new decentralized finance ecosystem and data access marketplace which in turn will incentivize the creation of dense local 5G wireless networks owned and operated by local communities.

Spektrum Chain is designed to sustain a globally ubiquitous, decentralised 5G & beyond network, entirely owned and governed by its community. It aims to improve upon current blockchain model efficiencies and introduces native mechanics for lowering adoption threshold and platform-agnostic interoperability among blockchains, also acting as a global asset hub.
Advanced Proof of Stake
Optimized proof of stake consensus mechanism for maximized transaction processing speed and reliability. Through APoS we go a few steps further than the clasic mechanism, by adding several small improvements that help reduce network latency.
Zero-Fee Transactions
Cheap transaction fees on Layer2 have proven ineffective in mitigating mempool spam attacks. Therefore we made transactions free, through a limited subsidization policy that covers incidental use scenarios, a staking-based system for everything else and strict rules for heavy use.
Geo-sharding Capability
Telecom is very highly and diversely regulated around the world, so future Spektrum 5G wireless service expansions to new jurisdictions will come with their own country-level individual blockchain shard and own particular localized ruleset, as required.
Transaction Signature Relayer Network
We implement the EIP-712 Ethereum proposal down to the execution level and offer it as a free service to users, through a supporting server layer, the Spektrum TSRN, making interaction with the Spektrum blockchain easy and with 0 knowledge required.
Self-executing Smart Contracts
Spektrum Chain stems from the Ethereum codebase, so an SVM (EVM equivalent) and Solidity smart contracts will be available from the start. Publishing smart contracts will present a contract self-execution optional feature, made possible through the Spektrum TSRN.
Native wrapping Gateways and Asset Bridges
We implement ready made and auto-deployable asset bridges to other smart chains (Ethereum, BSC, Solana etc.) for any type of assets, including synthetics and NFTs, and asset wrapping gateways for all relevant unidimensional blockchains (BTC, LTC, XRP, HNT, etc.).
